Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Engineer, your duties will include the installation, qualification, repair, and maintenance of ASML systems at customer locations. Specifically, you will:

Install new equipment, execute upgrades, and manage system relocations on the PAS platform. Assess and troubleshoot issues to implement necessary repairs, collaborating with co-workers, customers, and technical support. Oversee, maintain, and optimize equipment daily to improve functionality and avert problems. Guide users on timely actions to rectify malfunctions. Educate customers on equipment usage and routine maintenance, addressing their inquiries professionally. Carry out administrative and coordination tasks, including procedure modifications, work orders, and monthly reports. Independently draft precise technical reports. Provide necessary support and guidance to less experienced ASML personnel.

Qualifications

We seek candidates with a completed bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as (Applied) Physics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field. In addition to educational qualifications, we expect:

Demonstrated interest or experience in hands-on technical work. A strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction. Familiarity with strict procedures and timelines. Proficiency in computer applications, including data analysis tools and office software. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Proven ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment with fluctuating workloads. Capability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues and customers.

Additional Information

A valid driver's license is required. Depending on customer demand, you may be required to transition to a traveling engineer role, which would involve significant travel across the EU.

The work schedule consists of a rolling week of 8 days, structured as follows:

4 consecutive days of 12-hour shifts (including a 1-hour break), followed by 4 days off.
