Pharmaceutical Sales Manager for EMEA Region

Position OverviewThe EMEA Pharma Sales Manager will report directly to the Senior EMEA Sales Director and will be tasked with acquiring new clients, as well as nurturing and expanding relationships with existing Key Accounts within the pharmaceutical sector. This role is crucial in aligning with the company's strategic objectives and will require a professional demeanor, strong business insight, and the ability to forge robust relationships with clients, prospects, and industry leaders. The individual in this position will be instrumental in establishing W. R. Grace & Co. as the preferred supplier in the pharmaceutical market.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve designated targets for profitable sales volume, gross margin, and strategic goals within assigned accounts.
- Manage and cultivate strategic relationships with Pharma Key Accounts in the region, including the development of new commercial partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proactively build and manage the Pharma Sales pipeline through effective commercial execution.
- Lead negotiations and support the establishment of Supply Agreements, sustainability initiatives, and audit requests for pharmaceutical clients, collaborating with internal departments such as Legal, Sustainability, and Quality.
- Enhance profitability through a strategic mix of product offerings, pricing, and volume, while preparing and presenting proposals that effectively communicate customer value propositions.
- Facilitate a strategic account planning process that outlines performance objectives, financial targets, and key milestones for each target account.
- Regularly update forecasts, identify potential risks, and maintain key account data, while also leading Pre-Call Plans and documenting outcomes from significant customer meetings.
- Coordinate with internal resources to ensure all logistical, financial, marketing, and legal requirements for sales in each territory are met efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry or Pharmacology.
- Over 5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities, both internally and externally.
- Results-driven with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Ability to comprehend and market a technical product portfolio effectively.
- Excellent listening skills and a collaborative team player.
- A dynamic leader with high energy and motivation.
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- Proficient in utilizing IT tools for information sharing, reporting, and compliance.
- Experience in sales or sourcing within the Pharma or Life Sciences sectors.
- Experience in Key Account Management.
