Your Role

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence in the DACH region. Your primary focus will be on initiating and expanding our business across various industries. You will be tasked with generating leads, securing new contracts, and delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process.

This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our CEO, influencing our sales strategy and contributing to our growth trajectory. We seek a proactive, innovative, and driven sales professional eager to thrive in a dynamic startup environment. A background in marketing, business development, sales, or customer success is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and penetrate new markets.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Develop new business opportunities by targeting specific sectors within the DACH market.
  • Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients to meet sales objectives.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our product offerings.
  • Work alongside our CEO to refine sales strategies and drive business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide market insights and support their initiatives.
  • Conduct regular training sessions with junior sales staff to enhance team performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development within the DACH region.
  • Experience in eCommerce and SaaS industries.
  • Strong understanding of software concepts and terminology.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • A strong desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and selling skills.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with sales metrics and their application for success.
  • Understanding of lead generation strategies.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to challenges.
  • Fluency in German and strong English communication skills.
