Your Responsibilities
Are you eager to contribute to a pioneering atmosphere and influence the evolution of retail? If you possess a background in retail management and expansion, this opportunity is tailored for you. As the Director of Retail Growth, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the diversity of supermarket offerings and expanding our partnerships within the retail sector.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth and expansion strategy specifically for the Italian market.
- Conduct in-depth market analyses to extract valuable insights and formulate actionable strategies.
- Lead and nurture a key account management team, focusing on both physical and digital retail sales.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to craft and implement the overarching offline retail strategy.
- Identify and secure new retail locations and partnerships across Italy.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to establish enduring and fruitful collaborations.
- Oversee the entire expansion process, ensuring effective planning and execution.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding the progress and outcomes of retail expansion initiatives.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion within the FMCG or food sector, with a strong understanding of Italian food culture.
- A degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a reputable institution.
- Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being advantageous; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, particularly in rapidly growing environments.
- Strong capability in conducting market analyses and formulating strategic recommendations.
- Adept at managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and presenting findings confidently at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, commitment, effective communication abilities, and a passion for the food industry.
- A proactive, goal-oriented work ethic, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage complex projects successfully.
