We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our retail expansion and growth efforts in the Nordic region. As the Head of Retail Expansion and Growth, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to drive our expansion in the Nordic market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a holistic expansion and growth strategy for the Nordic countries, including market analysis, competitor research, and customer insights.
- Lead and manage a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and the Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Provide regular reporting to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, or expansion in the FMCG or food sector, with market-specific knowledge of the Nordic countries.
- Degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Excellent English language skills and relevant additional language skills, with German language skills being a plus.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
- Strong negotiating skills, commitment, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for the food market.
- Proactive and goal-oriented work style, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
- Professional appearance and drive, with a hands-on mentality.
