We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our retail expansion and growth efforts in Italy. As the Head of Retail Expansion and Growth, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to drive our expansion in the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Retail Expansion Strategy: Create and execute a strategic plan to expand our retail presence in Italy, including identifying new retail locations and partnerships.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct thorough market analyses to gain valuable insights and develop actionable recommendations for growth.
- Team Management and Development: Lead and develop a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Negotiation and Partnership Development: Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships in Italy, negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners, and build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Process Monitoring and Control: Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Reporting and Progress Updates: Regularly report to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- Experience and Expertise: You have at least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture.
- Education and Skills: You have a degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university, and excellent English language skills, with relevant additional language skills.
- Leadership and Team Management: You have experience in leading and developing teams, especially in fast-growing environments.
- Market Analysis and Strategic Recommendations: You have in-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: You have strong negotiation skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
- Professional Appearance and Work Ethic: You have a professional appearance and work ethic, with a hands-on mentality and a proactive and goal-oriented approach.
