- Growth and Expansion
- Identify opportunities to enter and expand into new markets and channels
- Develop strategic plans to win higher distribution and in-house share with customers
- Ensure teams are aligned with market pulse and capitalize on opportunities while managing risks
- Category Management
- Oversee product portfolio management, including pricing, SKU additions, and discontinuations
- Ensure optimal product assortment and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Develop and execute promotional plans to drive sales and profitability
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage category budgets, including sales forecasts, promotional spend, and profitability
- Track and analyze category financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement cost-efficiency initiatives and margin improvement strategies
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and R&D
- Ensure alignment and coordination across departments to achieve category goals
- 10+ years of experience in category or commercial management, operations role
- Fluent German and English
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Problem-solving and initiative
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels
