We are seeking enthusiastic students to join our dynamic team for a duration of 3 to 6 months in order to acquire hands-on experience in Corporate Finance at a globally recognized boutique investment firm with a robust deal pipeline.

Saxenhammer operates as a prominent M&A boutique focusing on medium-sized and growth enterprises. With a track record of over 300 successful transactions, we possess deep industry knowledge and create tailored solutions for our clients across various locations. As the exclusive partner of the M&A network CDI Global in Germany, we frequently engage in cross-border transactions and leverage the extensive expertise of our international associates.

In the realm of Special Situations M&A, we guide corporations, businesses, and entrepreneurs through intricate scenarios such as carve-outs, spin-offs, and restructuring initiatives. As a leading boutique in Germany with over two decades of experience, we blend investment banking proficiency with essential legal insights to deliver optimal outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of pitch presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations.
  • Engage actively in client and investor communications, providing support throughout processes alongside senior team members.
  • Construct integrated financial models, conduct financial analyses, and perform company valuations.
  • Conduct industry, company, and competitive research.
  • Support due diligence efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in economics or a related field with a concentration in corporate finance, or a recent graduate with commendable academic performance.
  • Prior experience in M&A consulting, corporate finance, or private equity is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, consulting and communication skills, and a confident presence.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and communicative skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset.
  • Capacity to manage tight deadlines and demanding client expectations, along with adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
