Position Overview

As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will:

  • Assist the Corporate Finance team in crafting presentations for financial results, capital markets events, and materials for the Supervisory Board.
  • Contribute to the investment and fundraising initiatives for businesses backed by Rocket Internet, along with exploring other investment avenues within the Internet domain.
  • Support the investment and reporting functions of the Rocket Internet Capital Partners fund.
  • Engage in the assessment and implementation of new projects, offering substantial learning experiences.
  • Collaborate within a team of six full-time professionals, gaining direct exposure to the senior management of Rocket Internet SE and its affiliated companies.

Your Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in business administration or a related discipline, with a solid grasp of Corporate Finance principles.
  • Previous experience through internships at a global investment bank, private equity firm, or corporate finance/transaction advisory services within an international accounting firm.
  • Ability to devise quick solutions while working autonomously, coupled with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A hands-on approach, with analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
