About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Intern to join our team at Rocket Internet SE. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of financial materials, assisting in the investment and fundraising process, and supporting the investment and reporting activities of our fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate Finance team in the preparation of financial materials, including results presentations, capital markets day materials, and Supervisory Board materials.
- Assist in the investment and fundraising process for Rocket Internet founded businesses and other investment opportunities in the Internet sector.
- Support the investment and reporting activities of the Rocket Internet Capital Partners fund.
- Evaluate and execute new projects, providing ample learning opportunities.
- Work closely with a team of six full-time employees, with direct exposure to senior management and the company's network.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in business administration or a related field, with a thorough understanding of Corporate Finance.
- Previous working experience through internships at a global investment bank, private equity fund, or corporate finance/transaction advisory services team at an international accounting firm.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with a hands-on mentality and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
