A Snapshot of Your Day

In this vital and dynamic position, you will oversee the execution of extensive service projects, including long-term service agreements (LTSA) for stationary battery storage systems. You will play a crucial role in the development, market strategy, tendering, and implementation of service-based battery energy storage solutions. Collaborating closely with clients, initial construction teams, and regional service units, your duties will encompass the management of projects from the commissioning phase through the entire operational lifecycle of the facility.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • You will take ownership of the project, transforming it from a signed agreement into a satisfied client.
  • You will be accountable for the planning and execution of service storage client projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
  • You will negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, partners, and clients, including handling change requests and claims management.
  • You will support growth opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline with both existing and prospective clients in collaboration with the sales manager and local sales teams.
  • You will define, design, implement, and continuously enhance the project management framework for executing service storage projects globally.
  • You will manage client expectations and requirements regarding functionality and overall quality of the provided solutions.
  • You will serve as a mentor to junior colleagues, leading lessons learned sessions and supporting activities aimed at continuous improvement in both product and process.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with over 5 years of professional experience in client-facing project management and execution within the energy sector, particularly in utility-scale storage projects, power grids, or complex service offerings.
  • Relevant project management certification (PMP) with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a foundational understanding of stationary battery storage systems, technologies, and components, including batteries, transformers, controls, and power conversion systems.
  • Knowledge of service offerings, including LTSA, performance and availability guarantees, reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM), and field service operations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
  • A solution-oriented and customer-centric approach with a winning mindset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize complex tasks in a multicultural and global environment.
