Project Manager - Energy Storage Solutions

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute multi-year service projects for stationary battery storage, including LTSA (long-term service agreements) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) products.
  • Collaborate with customers, initial build/EPC teams, and regional service teams to plan and execute projects from commissioning to plant life.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers, including change requests, contract, and claim management.
  • Support growth opportunities and sales pipeline with existing and new customers in conjunction with sales managers and local sales teams.
  • Develop and implement a project management framework for executing service storage projects globally.
  • Manage customer expectations and requirements for functionality and overall quality of provided solutions.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and lead lessons learned and supporting activities for continuous improvement in products and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, with 5+ years of professional experience in client-facing project management and project execution in the energy sector.
  • Industry-relevant project management certification (PMP) with excellent stakeholder management skills and basic understanding of stationary battery storage systems, technologies, and components.
  • Understanding of service offerings, including LTSAs, performance & availability guarantees, RAM, and field service.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English (German a plus).
  • Solution-oriented and customer-centric mindset with ability to self-organize and prioritize complex tasks in an intercultural and global environment.
