Overview of the Position

KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Project Entity Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional Daily Responsibilities In this role, you will engage in problem-solving while ensuring that teams remain focused and on schedule, overseeing the successful delivery of the project. You will regularly communicate the project status to clients, management, and various stakeholders. During site visits, you will interact with personnel at all levels to promote a safe working environment. You will maintain oversight during software development, engineering phases, and construction activities, driving the project towards successful completion. Your daily interactions will involve numerous stakeholders, fostering their support for the project. You will adeptly blend various project management methodologies to achieve optimal results for the project. Key Contributions Assume full accountability for managing extensive EPC Projects within the HVDC sector (cost, timeline, functionality, and customer satisfaction). Report to the designated Business Manager, overseeing the comprehensive project that includes packages from HV equipment, machinery, to civil and installation components, throughout all phases from design to commissioning. Take charge of Risk, Opportunity, and Issue Management by developing effective risk mitigation strategies. Influence the creation of necessary contracts, negotiate with stakeholders regarding Change Requests, and manage contract and claim processes. Manage customer expectations and requirements concerning functionality and overall quality of the provided solutions. Ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders and facilitate comprehensive communication within the project team. Establish a framework for regular compliance checks throughout the project. Qualifications University degree in electrical engineering. Extensive experience in project management and tools, particularly in Transmission and complex EPC environments. Proven leadership experience, including personnel management, development, and team motivation. Demonstrated understanding of economics in project business. Strong EHS leadership and advanced knowledge of compliance regulations. Expert understanding of internal and international rules and regulations pertinent to Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, and Global Procurement. Proficient in English and German, with an expectation of significant travel.-
