Job Overview

The Account Manager at VusionGroup plays a pivotal role in enhancing client relationships and driving business growth. This position involves:

  • Identifying opportunities for upselling within established accounts under the guidance of the VusionGroup Account Manager.
  • Engaging in prospecting activities to attract new clients and managing a portfolio of new logos.
  • Overseeing the implementation of VusionGroup's solutions for both new and existing clientele.
  • Collaborating on RFPs and tenders, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Legal, and Project Management.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with integrators and infrastructure providers.
  • Adhering to the sales process and maintaining accurate sales data in Salesforce, while reporting insights during sales meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Participating in client events and trade shows to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Providing valuable competitive insights to management and marketing teams.
  • Assisting the marketing department in crafting business cases and customer success stories.
  • Enjoying a high degree of autonomy in strategy formulation, mission execution, and business travel.
  • Utilizing available tools to generate quotes and negotiating within delegated limits as set by management.
  • Actively collaborating with the VusionGroup Account Manager to define and execute account strategies.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Keeping VusionGroup's CRM updated with relevant opportunity information.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of successful experience as an Account Manager, ideally in sectors such as Retail, SaaS, AI, or Computer Vision.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • A proven track record in sales is essential.
  • Familiarity with the B2B technical sales cycle is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the Retail industry is a significant plus.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional relationship-building capabilities across various organizational levels.
  • Ability to discern solution value for individual clients and translate this into additional sales opportunities.
  • A strong personal drive and proactive work approach.
  • Capability to prioritize strategic tasks from both customer and VusionGroup perspectives.
  • Effective negotiation skills with clients and partners.

Education:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Extensive relationship management and field attendance are essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively within the retail sector.
  • Good stress resilience.
  • Fluency in English in a business context (both verbal and written) is required; proficiency in another major language is a plus.
