We are collaborating with a prominent global market research firm seeking a Client Relationship Manager to oversee their portfolio of FMCG clients in Germany. This position is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in the German headquarters, offering a hybrid work model (3 days in the office and 2 days remote).

Key Responsibilities

As the new Client Relationship Manager, you will be tasked with managing and expanding an established portfolio of accounts primarily within the FMCG sector.

  • Maintain and enhance existing client relationships throughout Germany
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with clients
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the current client base
  • Travel to meet clients in person, approximately 30% of the time
  • Deliver on-site advisory services to clients
  • Achieve and surpass sales objectives
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the FMCG industry
Qualifications

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • Previous exposure to or interest in market research and market intelligence is preferred
  • Familiarity with FMCG and marketing is advantageous
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Experience in working towards sales goals and targets
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Willingness to travel (30%)
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background is preferred
