Position Overview

Role Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for enhancing relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive upselling initiatives within current VusionGroup accounts under the guidance of the Account Manager.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, managing a portfolio of new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation of VusionGroup's solutions for both new and existing customers.
  • Prepare and manage RFPs/tenders, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Legal, and Project Management.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with integrators and infrastructure providers.
  • Adhere to the sales process and maintain accurate sales data in Salesforce, providing updates during sales meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Participate in client events and industry trade shows.
  • Deliver competitive insights to the management and marketing teams.
  • Support marketing efforts in developing business cases and customer success stories.
  • Enjoy a high degree of autonomy in strategy, mission, and travel related to business.
  • Utilize available tools to generate quotes and negotiate within the parameters set by management.
  • Collaborate with the VusionGroup Account Manager to define and execute account strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Keep VusionGroup's CRM updated with relevant opportunity information.
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of successful experience as an Account Manager, ideally in sectors such as Retail, SaaS, AI, or Computer Vision.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales success and a strong track record.
  • Familiarity with the B2B technical sales cycle.
  • Knowledge of the Retail industry is advantageous.
  • Self-driven with exceptional relationship-building capabilities across various organizational levels.
  • Ability to recognize customer solution value and translate it into additional sales opportunities.
  • Strong personal motivation and proactive work habits.
  • Capacity to prioritize strategic tasks from both customer and VusionGroup perspectives.
  • Effective negotiation skills with clients and partners.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong lobbying skills with a focus on relationship development and field engagement.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Ability to negotiate firmly within the retail sector.
  • Resilience under pressure.
  • Fluent in English for business communication (both verbal and written); proficiency in another major language is a plus.
