Account Executive Team Leader

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Account Executive Team Leader in the DACH region. This pivotal position is essential for driving Spendesk's sales expansion, overseeing a dedicated team of account executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: - Cultivate a high-performing team of Account Executives - Manage the recruitment strategy, including hiring and performance evaluations - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires - Establish a robust enablement routine to enhance sales effectiveness - Oversee individual development plans and collaborate with the enablement and HR teams to support career growth - Ensure accountability and well-being within the team - Focus on performance management
- Sales Performance: - Achieve personal sales targets and drive team success - Implement a structured weekly operational rhythm for the team - Provide accurate sales forecasts to senior leadership - Actively participate in team meetings and initiatives to secure business - Develop, execute, and assess tactical plans to boost performance - Ensure timely and precise reporting of team activities and results
- Market Engagement: - Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders - Enhance processes, tools, and resources for the sales team - Act as a market representative for Spendesk, offering valuable insights to the Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams - Influence the product and marketing strategy based on market dynamics
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SaaS environment, focusing on SMBs or mid-market clients
- At least 1 year of experience managing Account Executives and achieving individual sales quotas
- Proven ability to generate leads through outbound strategies
- Data-driven and process-oriented mindset
- Proficient in utilizing outreach tools (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach) and Salesforce
- Fluent in both German and English
- Strong coaching skills with a track record of elevating team performance
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting sales targets
