Sales Team Leader

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Team Lead - Account Executive within our organization. This position is pivotal in driving Spendesk's sales expansion across the DACH region, focusing on managing and closing sales through a dedicated team of account executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: - Cultivate a high-performing team of Account Executives.
  • - Oversee the recruitment strategy, including hiring and performance evaluations.
  • - Facilitate the onboarding process for both internal and external hires.
  • - Establish a robust enablement routine to enhance sales execution.
  • - Manage individual development plans, collaborating with enablement and HR teams to support career growth.
  • - Ensure accountability and well-being within the team.
  • Performance Management: - Achieve individual quotas and team objectives consistently.
  • - Lead the team’s weekly operational meetings.
  • - Provide accurate forecasts to senior management.
  • - Actively participate in team discussions and activities to drive business closure.
  • - Develop, implement, and track tactical plans to boost performance.
  • - Ensure timely and precise reporting of team activities and outcomes.

Market Engagement:

  • - Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • - Enhance processes, tools, and resources for the commercial team.
  • - Act as the market representative for Spendesk, providing valuable insights to the Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
  • - Shape the German product and marketing strategy based on market trends.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a SaaS environment, targeting SMBs or mid-market clients.
  • At least 1 year of experience in managing Account Executives with individual quota responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in generating pipeline through outbound strategies.
  • Data-driven and process-oriented mindset.
  • Expertise in utilizing Outreach tools (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach) and Salesforce.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Strong coaching abilities to elevate team performance and achieve targets.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
