Account Executive Team Leader

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Account Executive Team Leader. This position is pivotal in driving Spendesk's sales expansion within the DACH region. You will be responsible for leading a team of account executives, focusing on both closing deals and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: - Cultivate a high-performing team of Account Executives - Manage the hiring strategy and oversee performance evaluations - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires - Ensure a consistent enablement routine to enhance sales execution - Develop individual growth plans for team members in collaboration with the enablement and HR teams - Uphold accountability and well-being within the team - Focus on performance management
  • Sales Performance: - Achieve individual and team sales targets consistently - Oversee the weekly operational rhythm of the team - Provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management - Actively participate in team meetings and activities to drive business closure - Design, implement, and monitor strategic plans to boost performance - Ensure timely and precise reporting of team activities and results
  • Market Insights: - Manage relationships with internal stakeholders effectively - Enhance processes, tools, and resources for the sales team - Act as the market representative for Spendesk, providing valuable insights to the Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams - Influence the product and marketing strategy based on market trends

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SaaS environment, targeting small to medium-sized businesses
  • At least 1 year of experience in managing Account Executives while meeting individual quotas
  • Proven ability to generate leads through outbound strategies
  • Data-driven and process-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in using outreach tools (such as Salesloft, Outreach, or similar) and Salesforce
  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Strong coaching skills with a track record of elevating team performance and achieving targets
  • Demonstrated history of consistently meeting sales goals
