About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Team Lead to join our Sungrow - EMEA team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing IT operations, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's business goals for the EMEA region.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to improve IT services and infrastructure.
  • Prepare and manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
IT Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the region's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunication systems.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of IT systems.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Project Management
  • Manage and oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with global IT teams and other departments to implement and integrate new systems and solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Compliance and Security
  • Ensure compliance with regional and global IT policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to protect company data and assets.
  • Implement and enforce robust IT security measures and protocols.
User Support and Service Management
  • Oversee the delivery of IT support services to ensure high user satisfaction.
  • Implement and manage IT service management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Track and analyze service performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure quality delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand and meet their IT needs.
Third Line Support
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by first and second line support.
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced issues related to Azure infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to address critical incidents and ensure service continuity.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT professional with a strong background in IT management, preferably within the renewable energy sector. You should have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security practices.
