Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult (GFIC) is seeking a driven and experienced Country Manager for Food Ingredients Distribution in Germany to lead our operations within this key market.

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business in Germany, including sales, marketing, customer service, and product development. You will report directly to the Global Head of Sales and work closely with our international team of experts.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for food ingredients within the German market.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, customer service representatives, and administrative staff.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage the P&L for the German operation and ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with product managers to develop and launch new products tailored to the German market.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers on food ingredient applications.
Your Profile
  • Master's Degree in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, marketing, or management within the food ingredients industry.
  • Strong understanding of the German market and its regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
