We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Manager to lead our Food Ingredients Distribution team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients, analyzing market trends, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients
- Analyze market trends and product ranges of suppliers to identify new opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Visit customers to understand their needs and create value propositions
- Participate in production trials and implement small-scale trials in the application kitchen
- Project manage in close cooperation with the Customer Service Manager
- Align sales strategies for suppliers' product groups under the supervision of Product Managers and Country Managers
- Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Germany
- Build a close relationship with suppliers and customers
- Visit customers to analyze their needs and create value propositions
- Participate in production trials and implement small-scale trials in the application kitchen
- Project manage in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
- Align sales strategies for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager
- Degree in Food Technology
- Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
- Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- High willingness to travel
- Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking
- Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written)
- Valid driving license
- Working in an international team with lean structures
- Closed cooperation with market-leading, innovative suppliers with excellent products
- Regular product and application training in our lab
