We are seeking a seasoned Country Manager to lead our Food Ingredients Distribution team in Germany. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing commercial and product strategies, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients
- Analyze market trends and product ranges to identify new opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Visit customers to understand their needs and create value propositions
- Participate in production trials and implement small-scale trials in the application kitchen
- Manage projects in close cooperation with the Customer Service Manager
- Align sales strategies with Product Managers and Country Managers
- Responsible for market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Germany
- Build and maintain close relationships with suppliers and customers
- Conduct lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers
- Follow up on offers, payments, and other business-related tasks
- Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts
- Degree in Food Technology
- Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
- Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- High willingness to travel
- Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking
- Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written)
- Valid driving license
- Working in an international team with lean structures
- Closed cooperation with market-leading, innovative suppliers with excellent products
- Regular product and application training in our lab
