We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Country Manager / Geschäftsführer for Food Ingredients Distribution within an esteemed international distributor operating across Europe and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 15 professionals, including Technical Sales Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and Accountants.
- Serve as both Country Manager and Technical Sales Manager for specific product categories.
- Work with high-quality, value-added products sourced from reputable suppliers.
- Flexible working arrangements, including office and remote options.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Master's Degree in Food Technology is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for food product innovation.
- In-depth knowledge of value-added food ingredients.

- Manage projects closely with the Customer Service Manager.
- Coordinate sales strategies for supplier product groups with support from Category Managers and Country Managers.
- Participate in various training programs (both internal and international) annually.
- Identify and understand customer needs to develop customized solutions.
- Conduct laboratory, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers.
- Follow up on offers and payments.
- Develop and implement sales budgets and forecasts.
- A degree in Food Technology is mandatory.
- Ability to resolve technological challenges and a strong interest in food product development.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Highly organized, reliable, and positive attitude.
- Fluency in German and English (both spoken and written) is essential.
- A valid driving license is required.
