About the Role

The International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) organization is seeking a highly skilled Digital Scientist to join the IFF Pharma Solutions team. This role is pivotal for the integration of digital technologies into the R&D organization to further strengthen its operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop digital solutions to enhance R&D operations, including automation and data analysis.
  • Apply state-of-the-art methods in computational materials science and machine learning to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver projects that drive business growth.
  • Serve as a technical enabler and partner within the R&D organization, providing expertise and guidance on digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in natural science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science, with a strong understanding of chemistry.
  • Proficiency in data science programming languages, SQL, and database development, as well as cloud services and application containerization.
  • Experience in introducing, designing, and building digital solutions, with a deep understanding of data analysis, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and travel abroad.
