Exciting Opportunity at International Flavors & Fragrances:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Scientist / Engineer (PhD/MSc) (m/f/d) to join our Polymer Synthesis & Modification group within IFF Pharma Solutions. This role is crucial for integrating digital technologies into our R&D organization to enhance operational excellence and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build digital solutions (automation, database) to optimize R&D processes and improve product development.
- Conduct data analysis and scientific model development to inform business decisions and drive innovation.
- Apply advanced methods in computational materials science and machine learning to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Lead digital transformation projects to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions into R&D processes.
- Act as a technical partner in the R&D organization to provide expertise and guidance on digital solutions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in natural science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science (PhD is a plus).
- Proficiency in data science programming, SQL, cloud services, containerization, version control, and web application development.
- Hands-on experience in digital solutions and strong understanding of data analysis and machine learning.
- Self-learning capability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing business needs.
Location:
Preferably based in a location that allows for collaboration with global teams and access to cutting-edge technology.
