About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our R&D Polymer Synthesis & Modification team at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in Bomlitz, Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of structure-property relationships of bio-polymers for pharmaceutical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and commercialize existing ones.
- Interface with marketing teams to understand market needs and end-use performance.
- Work closely with central research groups to define material characterization methodologies and identify critical molecular parameters.
Requirements
- PhD in Organic or Analytical Chemistry or a comparable degree.
- Experience in the field of polysaccharides.
- Strong analytical characterization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong teamwork abilities.
