Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician in Chemistry (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team at our facility. This role is integral to our R&D department, specifically within the Polymer Synthesis & Modification sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independent planning, execution, evaluation, and documentation of laboratory experiments.
  • Conducting complex syntheses of non-ionic, anionic, and cationic polysaccharide derivatives, with a focus on cellulose ethers through pressure syntheses.
  • Physical treatment of polysaccharides using agglomeration, drying, milling, and additive processes, utilizing various equipment such as mills, dryers, and mixers.
  • Comprehensive characterization of produced materials through techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and rheology.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed training as a laboratory technician in chemistry. Previous hands-on experience in the synthesis of organic materials and handling hazardous substances is preferred. A structured approach to problem-solving, proactive teamwork, and fluency in German are essential.
