About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Manager to lead our Food Ingredients Distribution team in Germany. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients, analyzing market trends, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Commercial and Product Strategies: Create and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share for our food ingredients.
  • Market Analysis and Product Range Development: Analyze market trends and product ranges to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Supplier and Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual success.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.
  • Sales Strategy Alignment: Align sales strategies with product managers and country managers to ensure cohesive and effective sales approaches.
  • Market Strategy, Purchasing, and Sales: Develop and execute market strategies, manage purchasing and sales processes, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Training and Development: Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in sales, project management, and technological know-how.
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology: A Master's degree in Food Technology is required.
  • Technical Problem-Solving and Food Product Development: Ability to solve complex technical problems and passion for developing innovative food products.
  • Communication, Negotiation, and Analytical Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Travel and Organization: High willingness to travel and very organized, reliable, and positive thinking are required.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is required.
