Lead Sales Executive for Automotive IoT Solutions

This role encompasses the sales responsibility for Vodafone's Automotive IoT sector within the DACH region. The objective is to maintain Vodafone's position as the global frontrunner in Automotive IoT while achieving sustainable growth and enhancing market presence.
Key Responsibilities
• Overseeing the Internet of Things automotive sales teams focused on OEM and Tier 1 sectors to ensure achievement of sales targets and optimal team performance.
• Mentoring and guiding the team through significant complex transactions and critical phases of the sales cycle, ensuring a high success rate and fostering long-term, trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Representing Vodafone IoT in client meetings and at both internal and external events.
• Initiating and implementing solution sales campaigns for specific offerings.
• Coordinating with stakeholders at various management levels across the organizational matrix, both locally and internationally, to meet customer needs for products and services.
• Facilitating innovation transfer for optimal future configurations and strategic planning, while promoting process enhancements for intricate deals to boost IoT sales across diverse enterprise channels.
• Cultivating a growth-oriented environment for the team that encourages learning, experimentation, and innovation.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven track record of successful sales in a B2B telecommunications or IT context (minimum of 5 years).
• Demonstrated success in corporate or multinational B2B environments.
• Proficient in negotiations at the executive level.
• Strong command of the German language.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Enthusiasm for M2M technology and the new business prospects it presents to clients.
• Experience in consultative selling and business consulting.
• Extensive experience in leading sales teams and managing tenders in a B2B telecommunications or IT environment (minimum of 5 years).
• In-depth understanding of the IoT landscape and established connections within the OEM sector.
• Experience in developing acquisition strategies and stakeholder analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of M2M products, services, and solutions, particularly in Logistics, Manufacturing, and Production.
This position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time engagement (minimum of 30 hours per week).
