Senior Application Engineer for Automotive Solutions

**Position Overview**

As a pivotal member of the MCU Tools and Ecosystem team, you will oversee the design and production of innovative evaluation and solution boards tailored for the automotive MCU series. Your expertise will be essential in shaping new solution boards, collaborating closely with customer engineering teams as well as with Renesas application engineering, marketing, and tool supply teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Serve as a global team contributor to develop cutting-edge Renesas automotive solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with Application Engineers and Product Marketers internally, and engage with customers and partners externally to create system demonstrators that integrate software and hardware, along with comprehensive documentation.
  • Deliver application training sessions for Field Application Engineers, Sales teams, Distributors, and customers.
  • Represent Renesas' technologies, products, and applications at technical seminars.
  • Manage the development and production of innovative solutions.

**Qualifications**

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient understanding of automotive system technical requirements with the ability to propose optimized products and solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, development tools, and ecosystems.
  • Solid grasp of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
  • Driven to initiate and complete projects, with a willingness to work in an international setting.
  • Strong ability to comprehend technical requirements and customer expectations.
  • Basic understanding of development and manufacturing costs for evaluating optimal system solutions for customers.
  • Leadership capabilities to guide project development and negotiate effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A blend of creativity and teamwork spirit.
