Senior Manager of Automotive MCU Solutions

Job Description

As a senior manager of the application engineering team for MCU tools and ecosystems, you will be responsible for managing the development and production of new evaluation boards and solutions for the automotive MCU series. You will work closely with product marketing teams as well as board design teams to ensure the successful launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of application engineers in creating new Renesas automotive solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including application engineers and product marketers, as well as external partners and customers.
  • Provide training and support to field application engineers, sales teams, distributors, and customers on Renesas' automotive solutions.
  • Present Renesas' technologies, products, and applications in technical seminars and conferences.
  • Manage the development and production of hardware and software solutions for the automotive MCU series.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in related work, including experience in automotive system technical requirements and proposal of optimized products and solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, development tools, and ecosystems.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in hardware and software development.
  • Motivated and able to work in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, milestone tracking, and leadership.
