EMEAP Strategic Alliances Manager

Position Overview
This role is based in the Abbott Diabetes Care division, focusing on enhancing the health management of individuals with diabetes through innovative products that deliver precise data for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and spearhead initiatives to identify, establish, and implement collaborations with external partners, encompassing both product and software services.
- Continuously evaluate business development opportunities, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Facilitate the execution of EMEAP/global contracts within EMEAP affiliates, ensuring readiness for country launches and operational excellence through best practices sharing.
- Collaborate with senior management, global business development, and legal teams to negotiate EMEAP-wide agreements and contracts with partners.
- Identify potential partners, develop business cases, and prepare necessary internal documentation for cooperation approvals. Provide guidance to EMEAP affiliates seeking local partnerships.
- Serve as the primary contact for all internal stakeholders, including partners, global business development, EMEAP marketing, and commercial teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in business, law, or life sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven experience in product launches.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of building trustworthy relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strong project management abilities to ensure seamless execution of launches across EMEAP and with various external partners.
- Preferred experience in business development and successful contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of Health Care, MedTech, or Pharma, particularly in the Diabetes sector.
- Curiosity for discovering new trends and technologies.
- Able to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment while meeting timelines and objectives.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development, demonstrating potential for growth into roles with greater responsibilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the US (up to 20%).
