The Opportunity
This position plays a crucial role in driving business growth and development within the Abbott Diabetes Care division. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing and launching strategic partnerships with external organizations to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, select, and establish partnerships with external organizations that align with Abbott's business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate and manage partnerships, ensuring successful collaboration and execution.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, customers, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant business, legal, or life sciences university degree.
- At least 5 years of previous relevant experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in product launches and business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in contract negotiation and business development is preferred.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, preferably in the diabetes sector.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of a second language desirable.
