Technical Sales Specialist

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in Darmstadt. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the Molecular Biology and Sample Prep markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate the entire sales process for assigned accounts and products, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions.
- Develop a deep technical knowledge of assigned products within the portfolio of responsibility, as well as a strong understanding of the features and benefits of competition's products.
- Champion the use of SalesForce (CRM) for accurate territory management and sales tracking.
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales plans by maintaining existing business and developing new relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Life Sciences. PhD would be a plus.
- Proficient in English and German written and oral, additional languages preferable.
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Previous sales/tele sales experience preferred.
- General knowledge of product portfolio.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Application of problem-solving and multi-tasking techniques.
- Ability to develop technical knowledge across a broad range of complex products.
- Solid understanding and application of MS Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Possess excellent eye for business.
