Position Summary

As a Sales Solutions Engineer, also referred to as a 'Pre-sales Consultant' or 'Sales Consultant', you will play a crucial role in the sales cycle by leveraging your expertise in WalkMe's Digital Adoption Platform. Your primary focus will be to align customer objectives with the functionalities of our platform, fostering technical relationships with all stakeholders to instill confidence in our solutions. Your goal will be to become a trusted advisor, guiding customers in understanding how WalkMe can facilitate their digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify customer needs and position WalkMe as the optimal solution by delivering innovative demonstrations to prospects, customers, and partners, both in-person and virtually.
  • Articulate the value of WalkMe's DAP Platform in the language of the customer, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
  • Present value propositions to C-Level executives and lead technical discussions with IT teams, showcasing both business value and technical compliance.
  • Provide strategic input to WalkMe's 'Go To Market' strategies by offering technical guidance to sales teams and key business partners.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s industry and technology, architecting tailored solutions accordingly.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot solutions while conducting demonstrations, workshops, and custom Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
  • Develop technical specifications and documentation to support proposed solutions, including whiteboarding business concepts and architectures.
  • Act as a valuable resource throughout the customer's decision-making process.
  • Efficiently respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Provide field insights to inform future product enhancements and requirements.
  • Work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of independent work.
  • Support marketing initiatives by presenting at events to drive interest and engagement.
  • Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Proven success in solution engineering, consultancy, or delivery of enterprise software solutions.
  • Significant experience with SaaS solutions in roles such as Sales Engineer or Solution Architect, particularly with enterprise software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs, identify business challenges, and present effective solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, suitable for both executive and technical audiences.
  • Quick learner with the ability to discuss new technologies confidently with customers and at marketing events.
  • Passionate about technology and knowledge sharing, with a practical and curious mindset.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit focused on achieving success together.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • Willingness to work in an office environment at least three days a week.

Preferred Technical Knowledge
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP and related O2C/P2P business processes.
  • Knowledge of core SaaS platforms (CRM, ERP, HRMS, etc.) and industry standards.
  • Understanding of Value Selling methodologies.
  • Awareness of web and mobile technologies.
  • Knowledge of SaaS enterprise architecture.
