The Vice President of Commercial – EMEA & APAC will serve as a regional leader, accountable for shaping the commercial strategy and achieving revenue targets across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. This role involves overseeing sales, product innovation, customer support, and marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the President of Porex, this position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s global objectives while enhancing performance in the designated regions.

  • Proactive Sales Approach: Skilled in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with a strategic mindset. This role demands relentless pursuit of sales objectives, utilizing market insights and networking to broaden the customer base.
  • Strategic Sales and Marketing: Strong forecasting skills and a thorough understanding of sales principles are essential. This role involves implementing structured commercial systems to drive revenue growth and market presence.
  • Financial Insight: Comprehensive knowledge of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and project valuation methods is required. Candidates must assess financial implications swiftly and make informed decisions that align with business goals.
  • Market Acumen: Deep understanding of the EMEA and APAC markets, capable of formulating long-term strategies that align with the company's overarching objectives.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Ability to build enduring relationships with clients by understanding their needs and preferences, ensuring that all business aspects prioritize customer value.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: Strong emphasis on achieving measurable outcomes and enhancing business performance through goal-setting and progress monitoring.
  • Team Development: Expertise in recruiting, nurturing, and retaining high-performing teams, fostering an inclusive environment that values individual contributions.

Essential qualifications for this role include:

  • Proven track record in leading sales and marketing for a business generating over $30M in revenue, demonstrating tangible growth.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in senior commercial roles within a custom-engineered solutions environment, particularly focused on EMEA and APAC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Fluency in multiple languages (English and German required).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA and APAC regions as necessary.
