Program Coordinator (f/m/d) SIX

At our Ditzingen facility

In Ditzingen, you will engage with security solutions aimed at monitoring and protecting borders, safeguarding civil and military installations, and facilitating tactical communication. This is an ideal environment for those eager to contribute to the development and production of tactical radio systems designed for coordinated operations during military engagements. Become a part of the Thales team specializing in cybersecurity, cryptography, encryption components, hardware security modules, and electronic key management systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead project initiatives according to Chorus 2.0, ensuring successful project completion aligned with technical, industrial, and financial objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction in collaboration with Solution Management, Portfolio Management, Bid Management, PMO, and R&D.
  • Establish and refine project requirements in partnership with the Bid Manager.
  • Define and oversee the project execution framework, including PBS, WBS, OBS, partner and supplier contractual data, management plans, budgets, and resource schedules, while continuously planning and consolidating project team workloads.
  • Facilitate a smooth project transition and contribute to the preparation, organization, and validation of the project launch, including conducting project launch reviews.
  • Effectively manage all relevant internal and external stakeholders and establish a project team charter.
  • Continuously monitor and manage financial KPIs and project efficiency, collaborating with the Finance Controller to consolidate budgets and costs, perform gap analyses, and proactively recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain the Risks & Opportunities Register, proactively managing and tracking risk mitigation and opportunity shaping plans.
  • Oversee legal and contractual obligations, including dispute resolution.
  • Prepare project reports and reviews, ensuring follow-up on action plans.
  • Provide leadership to the entire project team in accordance with the Thales leadership model.
  • Conclude the project by archiving documents and closing expenditure authorizations, while capitalizing on and sharing enterprise experiences (lessons learned).

We Seek Candidates Who Have:

  • A degree in IT or Engineering (e.g., IT, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering).
  • Proficiency in ERP tools (SAP), Office Applications, and Jira.
  • Experience in project management with customer BAAINBw (Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Use of the Bundeswehr).
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance Level Ü2.
  • Experience working in international companies within customer-oriented departments.
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English, both spoken and written, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices is preferred.
