Overview: As we maintain our commitment to excellence and drive innovation in the telecommunications sector, CommScope is seeking a Sales Development Manager to spearhead our initiatives in the DACH region within the Broadband EMEA Business Unit, part of our Cable and Connectivity Solutions (CCS) segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance organizational efficiency by formulating processes that align with the broader business unit strategy, implementing transformative changes, and overseeing the product life cycle, new product introductions, value proposition development, go-to-market strategies, and inventory management.
  • Foster a unified and engaged team through effective leadership and coaching, cultivating a collaborative and innovative atmosphere that meets the needs of our regional clients.
  • Establish a platform for gathering customer feedback (both internal and external) to identify areas for improvement and opportunities, particularly in new product development.
  • Plan and execute all sales activities for designated accounts or territories, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing product and service sales through to delivery, contributing to overall company growth.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in key focus areas, including research on fiber connectivity technology and advancements in 5G/IOWN fiber infrastructure, collaborating with Business Units, customers, and partners to drive new business.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and engage in sales activities to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate closely with field application engineering and business unit engineering teams to secure and sustain business, ensuring long-term revenue growth and heightened customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or Sales Engineering within the Telecommunications or IT sectors.
  • Proficient knowledge and sales experience in network fiber cable and connectivity passive products, including fiber closures, fiber terminals, PON splitters, WDM mux/demux filters, with an appreciation for RF overlay distribution over fiber.
  • Basic management tools and IT proficiency on PC, tablet, and smartphone, along with Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
