Credit Risk Manager for EMEA Region

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations for new clientele.
- Monitor and assess counterparty and country risks (KYC).
- Review and adjust existing credit limits as necessary.
- Collaborate with commercial managers regarding credit limit payment terms and ensure timely communication of decisions.
- Work alongside business units to identify solutions that align with corporate strategies.
- Gather and analyze customer data, including financial statements and collateral.
- Maintain detailed records of actions taken within the GetPaid credit management system.
- Ensure accountability for documentary transactions.
- Follow up on payment arrangements and manage delinquent accounts.
- Collaborate with legal teams on insolvency matters.
- Fulfill reporting obligations as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding credit inquiries.
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field, or relevant banking or administrative training.
- Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in a Credit Manager role within an international organization, preferably in the food production sector.
- Certification as a 'Certified Credit Manager' or 'Certified Credit Controller' is advantageous.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with good command of German; additional language skills are a plus.
- A detail-oriented, organized, and responsible work ethic complemented by analytical and ownership-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated assertiveness, goal orientation, and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work three days a week from our Hamburg office.
