About the Role
At ADM, we're seeking a skilled EMEA Credit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you'll play a critical role in assessing and managing credit risk across our international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of new customers to ensure their financial stability and creditworthiness.
- Monitor and analyze counterparty and country risk to identify potential credit risks.
- Review and update existing credit limits to ensure they align with our company's risk tolerance.
- Collaborate with commercial managers to negotiate credit limit payment terms and communicate decisions in a timely manner.
- Partner with our business teams to develop and implement credit management strategies that support our company's growth objectives.
- Obtain and evaluate customer information, balance sheets, and securities to inform credit decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of credit assessments and decisions in our GetPaid credit system.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to credit management.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external partners on credit-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit management or a related field, preferably in an international company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in German and other languages a plus.
