Global Food Colour Category Manager

Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult (GFIC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Food Colour Category Manager to join our team.

This role will be instrumental in driving the success of our food colour category by developing and executing strategic initiatives that maximize consumer appeal, sales, and profitability.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth within the food colour market.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to secure competitive pricing, high-quality products, and reliable supply chains.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of category strategies and achieve shared business objectives.
  • Oversee a team of analysts and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional development.
  • Monitor market performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize category performance.

Your Profile:

  • Proven track record as a Category Manager within the food ingredients industry, with a specific focus on colours.
  • Solid understanding of category management principles, marketing strategies, and sales techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and market research.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English language proficiency; Italian language skills are a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within the food ingredients sector.
