Senior Research Scientist for Advanced Medical Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our Ultrasound team at ImFusion GmbH. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing medical imaging algorithms with a focus on real-time interventional imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement medical imaging algorithms for real-time interventional imaging
- Collaborate with our industry customers to manage projects and deliver high-quality results
- Contribute to the productization of our interventional imaging framework
- Perform multi-modal image segmentation, registration, and reconstruction using classical and AI-based approaches
- Publish research results and represent our company at conferences
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
- Prior industry experience is a plus
- Experience with medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.)
- Applied knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Willing and able to learn quickly
- Reliable team player
- Proficient in English
