As a Senior Research Scientist in our Ultrasound division at ImFusion, you will engage in client projects, further refine our advanced visual computing software framework, and impart your expertise to colleagues and clients alike. This role offers the chance to explore innovative medical applications and make significant contributions to our framework using Python and C++.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating medical imaging algorithms focused on real-time interventional imaging within the Ultrasound team
- Executing multi-modal image segmentation, registration, and reconstruction using both traditional and AI-driven methodologies
- Assisting in the commercialization of our interventional imaging framework
- Overseeing projects in close collaboration with our industry partners
- Publishing findings and representing our organization at industry conferences
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- Proficient programming skills in C++ and Python
- Previous industry experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.)
- Applied knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Eager and capable of rapid learning
