Infrastructure and Large Project Calculator for Road Construction

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Infrastructure and Large Project Calculator to join our team at STRABAG Großprojekte GmbH. As a Junior Calculator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the creation of tender and offer calculations for road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of tender and offer calculations for road construction projects
  • Conduct cost calculations for construction services through own calculations and requests to subcontractors
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department
  • Independently calculate quantities based on project plans
  • Prepare and present tender calculations and highlight potential cost savings for the operational unit
  • Develop technical concepts as part of the tender calculation process
  • Conduct project-specific risk and opportunity analyses
  • Maintain calculation data

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • First-hand experience in construction management or calculation is beneficial, e.g., through work student activities or internships
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with calculation and billing programs (e.g., iTWO) is desirable
  • Independent and motivated working style, as well as team skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and action
