Road Construction Project Calculator for Junior Professionals

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Infrastructure and Large Project Calculator to join our team at STRABAG Großprojekte GmbH. As a Junior Calculator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the creation of tender and offer calculations for road construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of tender and offer calculations for road construction projects
- Conduct cost calculations for construction services through own calculations and requests to subcontractors
- Collaborate with the Purchasing department
- Independently calculate quantities based on project plans
- Prepare and present tender calculations and highlight potential cost savings for the operational unit
- Develop technical concepts as part of the tender calculation process
- Conduct project-specific risk and opportunity analyses
- Maintain calculation data
Requirements
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- First-hand experience in construction management or calculation is advantageous, e.g., through work student activities or internships
- Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with calculation and billing programs (e.g., iTWO) is desirable
- Independent and motivated working style, as well as team skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action
