Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect Lead to join our team. As a key member of our data-driven IT projects, you will be responsible for leading roles in cloud engineering, including project management and implementation, while building strong customer relationships.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cloud engineering projects, including project management and implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities and risks in projects and create new roles within existing projects.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage and persuade customers.
  • Collaborate closely with tech partners to grow the Azure partnership.
  • Apply analytical thinking to optimize internal processes.
  • Coach practice members and drive the success of the Azure cluster.
Requirements
  • More than 6 years of experience in Cloud/Data Engineering area (AWS or Azure).
  • Experience with managing projects and hands-on implementation of Cloud/Data Engineering projects.
  • Excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, Spark; object-oriented).
  • Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in big data areas of Azure.
  • Best Practices in designing and setting up data platforms via IaC (with all respective security related requirements).
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Information Management or similar qualification.
  • Certifications in Azure: Associate or Professional or proven record of delivering projects with Azure.
  • Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time).
  • Fluent in German and English (speaking and writing).
  • Very good presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to Land&Expand.
