Role OverviewIn the Bosch Building Technologies sector, we are a leading global provider of systems, solutions, and services that ensure the safety of individuals, structures, and assets while promoting comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
As part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Solution Architects, UX Designers, and Service Designers, you will play a crucial role in:
- Taking charge of conceptualizing and designing architectural frameworks and solution components aligned with our product vision and strategic roadmap.
- Establishing and refining architectural guiding principles to direct our platform and solution development in collaboration with fellow architects.
- Engaging in technical discussions that encompass both functional and non-functional project requirements.
- Collaborating with the team to develop comprehensive end-to-end solutions, overseeing their deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Effectively communicating your innovative solution concepts.
- Exercising creative freedom and pursuing development opportunities to drive technological advancements that facilitate business innovations.
- Championing software development best practices.
- Mentoring and coaching fellow developers to foster their growth.
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Personality and Work Style: Strong persuasive and networking abilities, excellent communication skills in diverse and interdisciplinary teams, and exceptional analytical and conceptual presentation skills. A focus on teamwork and goal orientation, combined with entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, is essential.
- Experience and Knowledge: A minimum of 3 years in Software Development, with experience in complex IT infrastructure environments, as well as roles as a Software Architect and Solution Architect. Proficiency in Java and Spring or C#.Net application development is required, with frontend experience in Angular, Typescript, or CSS considered a plus. Familiarity with build systems such as Gradle and Maven is advantageous. Knowledge of Azure cloud building blocks, including Azure ADX and ADT, is essential, along with experience in designing and constructing solution components on Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS services. A solid understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as SCRUM and Kanban, and a basic comprehension of UX and service engineering are also necessary.
- Languages: Proficient in both German and English.
