Position: Corporate Travel Counselor, Tourismuskauffrau/mann

We are actively seeking talented individuals to support our operations at a prestigious client in Bonn.

This role primarily requires in-office presence, although remote work or a hybrid model is also an option.

Our team provides exceptional service to clients across Germany and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert and customer-focused advice to corporate clients regarding travel inquiries and requirements, adhering to various travel policies and compliance regulations.
  • Facilitate travel bookings (flights, trains, hotels, car rentals) using START/AMADEUS, online platforms, and other booking tools.
  • Process bookings through the government’s TMS workflow.
  • Authorize and oversee travel arrangements in accordance with federal travel expense regulations.
  • Manage incoming client inquiries via phone, fax, and email.
  • Provide guidance on entry and visa regulations, including visa procurement.
  • Prepare travel documents, invoices, and credits.
  • Handle refunds for unused travel documents.
  • Address customer complaints effectively.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as billing (BSP, DB, GKA, etc.) and reconciliation (ADM/ACM, DB).
  • Process follow-up client inquiries (invoice copies, billing discrepancies, etc.).
  • Manage queue processing.
  • Create and maintain client profiles.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a travel management program or equivalent qualification in the travel sector.
  • Experience in corporate travel services within a full-service travel agency.
  • Strong knowledge of IATA, DB, and key suppliers such as airlines, hotel chains, and car rental services.
  • Proficient in START/Amadeus and MIDOCO.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to service excellence and quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility.
  • Willingness to engage in professional development opportunities.
  • Familiarity with federal travel expense regulations is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
