Senior Manager of Market Insights in Consumer Healthcare

Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of Market Insights, you will play a crucial role in our vibrant team, generating insights that propel our Consumer Healthcare (CHC) division - recognized as the fastest-growing CHC company in Europe and ranked 7th globally. Your focus will be on comprehending market dynamics, consumer preferences, competitive actions, and organizational performance to inform strategic decisions and enhance business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, compile, analyze, and disseminate insights on designated CHC categories to identify growth opportunities and evaluate our market standing.
- Conduct in-depth analytics on strategic CHC brand topics within assigned categories.
- Create impactful and insightful dashboards utilizing both internal and external data sources.
- Review and critically assess CHC brand business objectives to formulate, manage, and implement market research strategies.
- Oversee all primary market research initiatives within assigned CHC categories, including defining project goals, vendor selection, project management, and timely delivery within budget.
- Facilitate continuous process optimization, fostering cross-functional collaboration and sharing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Global CHC Brand team, CHC Portfolio Management team, country marketing teams, and the Global Business Intelligence network.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in business, marketing, management, or a research-related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Market Intelligence, Market Research, or Business Intelligence, preferably within a market research agency or a Consumer Healthcare organization.
- Expertise in designing, executing, and evaluating primary and secondary research in consumer healthcare to derive data-driven insights using various research and analytical methods.
- Proven ability to manage extensive multi-country consumer/healthcare professional primary market research projects and communicate actionable insights across diverse teams.
- Significant experience with data sources (IMS, Mintel, IRI) and analytics tools (Excel, Alteryx) as well as visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of the media/digital landscape and its application in shaping consumer insights.
- Adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Skilled in building robust relationships within the organization and across teams/markets.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation capabilities.
